4 GW Troops & Unnachchi Youth Educated on Drug Prevention

One Officer and thirty Other Ranks of the 4 Gemunu Watch (GW) of the 232 Infantry Brigade under the 23 Infantry Division of the Security Force HQ-East and a group of 30 young people from Unnachchi area in Batticaloa joined to listen to a lecture on ‘Drug Prevention’ organized at Unnachchi Fishermen's Union hall on Wednesday (16 Aug).

The awareness event coincided with the International Youth Day. The Police Constable, W.A.C Welagedara of Aeththamalai Police Station lectured during the programme.

The session was conducted as per guidelines given by Major S.P.I.H Senanayake, Commanding Officer of 4 GW.
