4 Gemunu Watch (GW) troops of the 231 Infantry Brigade under the 23 Infantry Division of the Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E) provided a delicious lunch and packs of essentials to 26 children at ‘Ozanam’ Centre for Children with Special Needs at Sathurkondan, Batticoloa on 26 December 2022 on account of the festive season.
Lieutenant Colonel A.A.M.P Gunarathna, Commanding Officer, 4 GW along with his troops contributed to the project and bought those essentials for children on their own. The Commanding Officer was also present during the treat.
