3rd Round of Discussion on ‘Disaster Mitigation Mechanism’ Held at 57 Division

The third round of discussion, aimed at reviewing the preparation of the integrated disaster mitigation mechanism, organized by the 571 Brigade HQ on the directions of Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa, General Officer Commanding of the 57 Division got underway on 24 December 2020 at the 57 Division Headquarters in Kilinochchi.

The discussion has been structured offering the opportunity for the field commanders of the 57 Division to discuss the practical undefined areas when engaging in disaster mitigation and relief operations with relevant state officials in the district.
