37 Recovered Patients Leave Hospitals - NOCPCO

As of this morning (20), a total of 87 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. All of them were locally-identified close contacts of Minuwangoda garment factory-infected employees, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (20), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory is 2164. Of them, 1,041 are factory employees and other 1123 are locally-identified contacts of the garment factory-infected employees.

As of this morning, the flight QR 668 from Narita, Japan has arrived with 04 passengers and all of them were sent to the tri forces-managed Quarantine Centres after PCR tests.

Within the day (20), 72 quarantined individuals after PCR tests are set to leave for their homes. Of them, 01 person is from Rajagiriya Ayurvedic QC, 1 person from Hotel Jetwing Blue QC, 01 person from Jetwing Beach Hotel QC, 01 person from Mount Lavinia Hotel QC and 10 persons are from Kaya Wellness Resort QC, 04 persons from Hotel Dolphin, 11 persons from Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps QC, 20 persons from Ceyland Lodge QC and 23 persons from Diyagama Sports Complex.

To-date, 55,073 individuals have left for homes after quarantining. As of this morning (20), 8,623 persons in 76 tri-service-managed QCs (Army - 65, Navy - 7, Air Force - 4) are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (19), 6,873 PCR tests were carried out across the country and the total PCR tests conducted so far stands at 391,060.

By 6.00 this morning (20), 37 fully-recovered COVID-19 affectees were discharged from hospitals. 20 of them are expatriates and 17 were identified as close contacts of Minuwangoda garment factory-infected employees who were in quarantine at QCs.(Ends)best Running shoes | Men's Footwear
