3,565 Persons in 66 Hotels & Tri service-managed QCs still in Quarantine-NOCPCO

As of this morning (1), a total of 2,177 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 27 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 2,150 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 441 from Gampaha District, 389 from Kalutara District, 158 from Matara District and 1,162 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (1), a total of 308,838 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 198,906 were reported after the New Year.

By Sunday (1) morning (past 24 hours), 1906 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 30 July, 61 more deaths have been reported including 36 males and 25 females.

As of Sunday (1), 3,565 persons in 66 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Sunday (1) morning, 795 persons have left 19 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.
