The certificate- awarding ceremony for 34 attendees in the Tamil Language Course No -06 was held at the 1 Military Intelligence Corps (1 MIC) HQ at Vavuniya on 02 June (Friday) at the Headquarters.
The Brigadier General Staff of Security Force Headquarters -Wanni), Brigadier S.P.G Gamage RWP RSP USP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered a brief speech after awarding the certificates to those who have successfully completed the course.
The Tamil Language Course No - 06 was followed by 34 Other Ranks in the 1 Military Intelligence Corps under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces- Wanni Major General C.D. Ranasinghe RWP RSP. This was aimed to improve Tamil Language skills of the troops of under command battalions serving in the Wanni region.
The course was coordinated by Lieutenant A.G.N. Sandaruwan under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of 1 MIC Lieutenant Colonel S.A.J.K. Subasinghe. Sergeant J.J.M. Sanjeewa and Corporal R.M.E. Rathnayake were the Instructors of the Course.
