A sudden fire that broke out inside a house, belonging to Hon Member of Parliament (MP), Jeevan Thondaman in the Wedivon Estate in Thawalanthenna area in the Nuwara Eliya district was doused by 3 (Volunteer) Sri lanka Sinha Regiment troops of the Security Force Headquarters-Central on Tuesday (18).
A platoon of troops from 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment took immediate action and doused the fire under the supervision of their Commanding Officer, 3 (V) SLSR.
