The inauguration of the battalion training course of 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment of 112 Brigade of Security Force Headquarters -Central commenced at the Battalion Training School in Walamandiya on Wednesday (1).
The training course, basically designed with the intention of filling up the gaps and widen the knowledge of relevant officers and other ranks in the battalions began after Brigade Commander of the 112 Brigade, Brigadier D.A.K. Dissanayake delivered the inaugural gambit.
Senior officers, including 3 SLSR Commanding Officer Major W.G.T.W.A.M.R.P.S Boyagoda and the Chief Instructor of the training school, Lieutenant Colonel NWDA Nanayakkara along with some other officers participated in the inaugural occasion.
Training Course has been designed under the guidance of Major General Samantha Silva, Commander, Security Forces - Central. Accordingly, 09 Officers and 338 Other Ranks began the course on Wednesday (1) and it will continue until 19th January 2022.
