Troops of 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) serving the 112 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) organized a religious programme on account of Nikini Fullmoon Poyaday at the Sangamiththa Meditation Center, Nuwara Eliya.
Ven. Abepura Dammika Therani of Sangamiththa Meditation Center conducted the sermon and meditation programme for all members of the Army.
Commanding Officer, 3 SLSR together with many officers and other ranks participated in the day’s religious programme.
In the meantime, troops of the 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) serving at the 111 Brigade provided labour assistance for construction of the Nithulethanne Rathmal Viharaya. This was initiated on the instructions of the Commanding Officer, 1 SLRC.
