3 GW Troops Offer School Aids to Two Students thru Sponsors

Troops of the 3 (v) Gemunu Watch of the 613 Infantry Brigade extended their helping hand to two students of low-income group families by way of providing school accessories and essentials on 10 March 2023.

Troops learnt about their hardships of those students at Horagoda Navodya Vidyalaya residing in Andadola, Horagoda, Thelijjawila and officials at Laksiri Textile Pvt. Ltd, Matara offered their patronage for the incentives.

The Commanding Officer, 3 (v) Battalion Gemunu Watch, under the guidance of the Commander 613 Infantry Brigade and the General Officer Commanding, 61 Infantry Division delivered those educational aids, worth around Rs. 25, 000.00 in total.

Army personnel of the 3 (v) Battalion Gemunu Watch went to their doorsteps and handed them over to the beneficiaries in the presence of their parents.
