As part of the Sri Lanka Army's 75th anniversary celebrations, the 3rd Commando Regiment (3 CR) took a significant step in supporting local education by renovating the V/ Kalukunnanmaduwa Government School in Punewa, Vavuniya.
The project, aimed at uplifting the facilities of this regional school with the involvement of 30 troops.
The renovation efforts included cleaning, repairing, and painting the school's buildings, significantly improving the environment for both students and staff.
The school, which had been facing infrastructural challenges improved creating more conducive space for learning.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
