The 2nd Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment conducted a Dry Ration and Lunch Packet Donation Programme under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division.
The event was held at the battalion premises on 25th May 2025, as part of ongoing civil-military coordination activities. The programme aimed to support pregnant women in the area and was sponsored by the Commanding Officer, Officers, and Other Ranks of the 2nd Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment.
The initiative was carried out in line with the concept of the Commander of the 221 Infantry Brigade.
The event was graced by the presence of the Commanding Officer, Senior Officers, Other Ranks, and local civilians.
