283 Persons Confirmed Positive to COVID 19 –NOCPCO

As of this morning (12), a total of 283 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 58 Sri Lankan expatriates and 225 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 127 from Colombo District, 26 from Gampaha District, 17 from Jaffna District and 55 others from different Districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (12), a total of 95,130 persons, inclusive of 90,520 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 91,630 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 2,902 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

In the past 24 hours, 175 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. 2 more deaths have been reported from Udahenathenna area in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 598 by this morning (12).

As of this morning (12), 10,604 persons in 101 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (11) 5,292 PCR tests have been conducted. latest Nike release | Nike Air Max 270
