Troops of 241 Infantry Brigade responded to clear the Nainakadu irrigation canal anicut, clogged with timber from torrential rains, and averted the threat of an overflow on Thursday (11 January).
Accordingly, under the guidance of Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade, troops cleared the anicut and reinstated the water flow with the support of the Irrigation Department officials and civilians in the area.
