24 Infantry Division organized a blood donation campaign under the guidance of Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division at Division premises on 19 May 2024.
This programme was aimed to address the urgent blood needs of the Regional Blood Centre of Ampara District Hospital. 122 troops from the Division and civilians donated their blood to replenish the much-needed blood requirement in the area. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
