233 Brigade Coordinates Award of School Aids to Panichchankerni Government Tamil Mixed School

18 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops under the 233 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters-East distributed 250 packs of school accessories, each worth Rs. 1500.00 among 250 children at Panichchankerni Government Tamil Mixed School in Vakarai during a simple ceremony, held on March 4.

Humedica International Lanka Private Ltd provided the sponsorship in this connection at the request of Colonel Chandra Jayaweera, Brigade Commander, 233 Brigade who also attended the distribution ceremony as the Chief Guest.

Dr T.G Prithiviraj, Executive Director Humedica International Lanka Private Ltd as well as officials of the Department of Education at Valachchenai and the sponsoring company attended the event.

On behalf of the Principal, teachers and children of the school, one teacher extended gratitude to the Army for coordinating this event along with Humedica International Lanka.
