231 Infantry Brigade's New Multi Facility Building Opened

A multi-facility complex, comprised of a mini welfare shop, cafeteria and a hair-dressing saloon, erected by the 231 Infantry Brigade HQ in Kallady, Batticaloa under the 23 Division of the Security Force HQ-East for the benefit of troops was vested in the Brigade troops on Wednesday (15).

231 Infantry Brigade troops erected the facility on the directions of the Commander, 231 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Dilupa Bandara. It was opened by the Commander, 231 Infantry Brigade in the presence of the troops after cutting a ribbon and unveiling a plaque to that effect.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the 231 Brigade attended the inaugural ceremony.
