The 231 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - East in Kalladi celebrated its 9th anniversary on Tuesday (10) on a low-profile due to the resurgence of COVID-19 epidemic, giving pride of place to religious observances.
On the anniversary day, an alms-giving was organized at Kalkudah Sri Seelankara Pirivena to invoke blessings on fallen War Heroes and the serving Officers and Other Ranks of the Brigade.
In the meantime, a blood donation campaign was also organized on the following day in collaboration with the blood bank of the Teaching Hospital in Batticaloa where 75 troops and civilians volunteered to donate their blood during the day.
Colonel Pradeep Gamage, 231 Brigade Commander directed the troops to carry out all these programmes amid this COIVID-19 pandemic by strictly adhering to health guidelines.best shoes | Air Jordan
