23 Infantry Division Bids Farewell to Outgoing Commander of Security Forces (East)

The 23 Infantry Division bade farewell to Major General S.A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, the outgoing Commander of Security Forces (East), on 30 November 2024, at the Division Headquarters.

The ceremony commenced with a Guard Turnout by troops of the Division and a warm welcome extended by the General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division. To mark the occasion, the Commander planted a sapling and posed for a group photograph.

During All-Ranks tea gathering, he expressed his gratitude for the support and dedication of the personnel during his tenure. Several mementos were presented to him as tokens of appreciation. The event concluded with a farewell lunch and the signing of the visitors' book.
