23 Gemunu Watch (23 GW) troops of the 522 Infantry Brigade of the 52 Infantry Division under the Security Force HQ - Jaffna on Wednesday (26) during a voluntary effort cleaned the Palai Divisional Hospital compound with the intention of uplifting health standards of the hospital.
Accordingly, 15 Other Ranks, together with staff at Palai hospital participated in the cleaning programme.
Major R.M.M.B Sampath RWP RSP, Commanding Officer of the 23 GW initiated the project under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of the 52 Infantry Division and Brigadier L.K.T Fernando RSP USP, Commander of 522 Infantry Brigade.
