Army troops serving 23 Division in Poonani under the Security Forces Headquarters, East on account of Navam Poya day carried out a Sharamadana (community project) to clean up the Welikanda government hospital premises and provide them with lunch.
A group of about 50 officers and soldiers took part in the project on the instructions of the 23 Division Commander. Troops completely cleaned up the premises and took steps to wash the floors of the wards in the hospital on Thursday (17).
