231 Brigade troops of the 23 Division under the Security Force Headquarters – East (SFHQ-E) in coordination with authorities in the Education Department organized a seminar for O/L students on Saturday (25) at Oddamavadi Central College in Vallachchenai.
More than 110 students attended the seminar where focus was on Science and Mathematics subjects.
11 Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) troops supported the arrangements by printing and distributing required tutorials for the students.
A delicious lunch and a tea were also provided by the 231 Brigade troops. Lecture assistance was provided by Mr D.M. Darshan and Mr. T. Jayadeepan, popular teachers in the area.
