225 Quarantined People Leave for Their Homes - NOCPCO

The Flight No UL 288 from Dubai with 290 passengers arrived in Sri Lanka this morning (18) and all of them are in the process of being sent to Quarantine Centres (QCs), managed by tri services for necessary quarantine process, a Media Release issued this evening (18) by the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) at Rajagiriya stated.

225 individuals after completion of the quarantine process at Katukeliyawa (04), Shelton Hotel Kosgoda (07), Anarva Hotel-Colombo (09), Kandakadu (191) and Diyatalawa (14) left for their homes today (18) after conduct of PCR tests and with Quarantine Certificates. By Thursday (18), a total of 14,960 quarantined individuals from tri service-managed QCs have left for their homes.

As of now, 3,914 persons are in quarantine in 39 island-wide QCs, run by tri services. By this evening (at 1600 hours), two more new COVID-19 positive cases among foreign arrivals were reported.
