The 223 Infantry Brigade celebrated its 5th Anniversary on 16 December 2024 at the Brigade Headquarters under the guidance of Brigadier L.R Wijeratne USP, Commander of the 223 Infantry Brigade.
Commemorative activities included a softball cricket tournament, an alms-giving programme, sapling planting, an All-Ranks lunch, and a musical show. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the celebrations.
