222 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E) conducted several welfare projects in the general area of Kantale in the third week of April.
Troops of the 222 Brigade provided assistance to build a new meditation room for Sathipattana Meditation Centre in Kantale on 17 April.
Meanwhile, another section of the troops is engaged in the construction work of the ‘Dagoba’ at Mahamevuna Monastery in Kantale on 19 April. Troops also cleaned the temple premises for the upcoming exhibition of Sacred Relics to mark Vesak Full Moon Poya day.
