22 Infantry Division Delves into War Literature and the Essence of Heroism

Under the guidance of Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, a timely important lecture on ‘Sri Lanka Army War Literature’ and ‘Heroic Defender’ was held at the 22 Infantry Division on 15 February 2024.

Lieutenant Colonel E.A.A.S Chaminda, Editor-in-Chief of Ranaviruwa Magazine, engaged the audience with captivating insights into military literature, sharing valuable wartime experiences. Simultaneously, Lieutenant Colonel T.P.G.K.P de Alwis RWP USP psc shed light on the attributes defining a 'Heroic Defender.'

The event was held with the participation of 250 troops serving in 22 Infantry Division and under command battalions.
