Intending to give a helping hand to the candidates sitting the forthcoming GCE Ordinary Level Examination in December, the 22 Division Headquarters in Trincomalee facilitated the conduct of an educational seminar at Kiliveddi Maha Vidyalaya in Kinniya on Sunday (19).
The arrangement organized on a proposal of Major General Aruna Jayasekara, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 22 Division was attended by more than 190 students, drawn from the area.
Under the supervision of officials of the Regional Education Department, qualified and popular teachers in the region delivered lectures on Mathematics and a few other subjects throughout the day.
Colonel Keerthi Kottawaththa, Brigade Commander, 224 Brigade, Senior Officers, representatives of the Education Department also attended the inaugural occasion of the seminar.
