22 Division Conducts Training for Imminent Contingencies

222 Brigade troops under command to the 22 Division of the Security Force HQ-East organized a field training exercise for their Search & Rescue (SAR) teams at Sirimangala village in Serunuwara on 18 September 2020.

Considering the need for rehearsing contingency plans against upcoming flood season, the programme got underway under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Division, Major General Channa Weerasooriya and was coordinated by the Commander 222 Brigade, Colonel Viraj Weerarathne.
