Security Force Headquarters - Wanni taking another step forward in their house-construction project for needy people laid the foundation stone for one more new house to Mr S.P Lionel Senevirathna, residing at Thuppitiyawa, Thanthirimale on Tuesday (26).
The homeless recipient with four children is undergoing a lot of hardships even without basic amenities when the troops were informed of the predicament. The philanthropist, Mr Malin Rajapaksha based in Australia came forward to sponsor the construction of this home through the coordination, made by the Commander, 212 Brigade who also laid the foundation stone.
Construction of the house has been undertaken by troops of the 5 Sri Lanka National Guard troops under the guidance of the 212 Brigade of the 21 Division. Commander, 212 Brigade, Colonel Anil Peiris graced the occasion as the chief guest.
