211 Infantry Brigade with Donor's Support Help Welioya Students for Studies

The 211 Infantry Brigade of the 21 Infantry Division under command to the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni with the patronage of the People's Bank Buddhist Association distributed a stock of school accessories among 132 needy school students learning at Padaviya Kudarathmale Vidyalaya, Welioya Janakapura Vidyalaya and Halabawewa Vidyalaya on 15 August at their respective schools premises.

Peoples Bank's Padaviya Branch provided the financial contribution to this event, organized with the blessings of Major General I.A.N.B Perera RWP USP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division.

Brigadier I.N Kadanaarchchi RSP, Brigade Commander of 211 Infantry Brigade graced the occasion as the chief guest. Troops of 9 Gajaba Regiment and 5 (v) Gajaba Regiment of the 211 Infantry Brigade organized the event on the directions of the 211 Brigade Commander.
