More than 280 villagers in Pudiriththapuliyankulam and 400 acre colony village in the 211 Brigade area, Vavuniya, were benefited as a result of a mobile clinic conducted to treat their eye ailments and other physical diseases.
Those clinics at Pudiriththapuliyankulam Arfa Vidyalaya and Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya during two days (May 18-19) were coordinated by 211 Brigade Headquarters and Colombo 06 - Cosmopolitan District 306 A 02 Lion Club. The sponsor, Cosmopolitan District 306 A 02 Lion Club spent Rs. 135,000/= for the project at the request of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W).
Mr. Chathura Cooray, President, Lion’s club – Colombo 06 Cosmopolitan District 306 A 02 and 211 Brigade Civil Affairs Officer and several officers attended the occasion.
