21 Division’s Anniversary Marked with a Treat to Children with Special Needs

Troops of the 21 Division celebrated its 33rd anniversary under the guidelines given by Major General Vikum Liyanage, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 21 Division in Ranasewapura, Anuradhapura on Tuesday (6).

Military formalities in the anniversary celebrations commenced with a Guard Turnout, presented by 21Division troops saluting the GOC 21 Division in the premises as the first item on the agenda.

Planting of a tree sapling, troop address, a group photograph and an all rank tea were among other features in the anniversary programme.

Before the anniversary day, 21 Division troops, together with the General Officer Commanding distributed food varieties and essential items among children with special needs at ‘Mithra Lama Niwasaya’ at Saliyapura.
