Troops of the 213 Brigade under the 21 Division of the Security Force HQ - Wanni adding their share to the ‘Thuru Mithuru - Nawa Ratak’ national drive of the Army Chief carried out a tree planting drive in the general area of Sinna Sippikulam, together with officials of the Forest Conservation Department on Tuesday (8).
Troops planted 300 saplings including Kumbuk, Naa, Mango, etc around the area to help reduce the soil erosion of the area.
