The Inter Division Squash Tournament of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) in order to motivate and improve sports skills of Army troops serving the area got underway on Monday (5) at the Squash Court at the SFHQ-W.

Players representing 21, 54, 56, 61, 62 Divisions and Forward Maintenance Area – North Central competed for supremacy. In the finals, Corporal D.M.S Jayakody of 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of the 21 Division emerged the champion in the tournament while Private S.M.D.S Sandanayake of 9 Gajaba Regiment in the 62 Division secured the runner-up slot in the tournament.
Major General Jagath Gunawardena, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni graced the awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest, together with General Officers Commanding (GOCs) of 21, 54, 56, 61 Divisions, Commander Forward Maintenance Area - North Central (FMA-North Central) and Officers.
