20 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) troops of the 612 Infantry Brigade of the 61 Infantry Division under the Security Force Headquarters - West provided technical and engineering assistance to paint and renovate the Samanalawaththa Nippon Buddhist Temple in Meegasthenna.
The project was carried out during 1-20 November 2023 in consultation with the chief prelate of the temple. 612 Infantry Brigade Commander closely supervised the project, together with the 20 SLLI Commanding Officer.
