20 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) celebrated its 16th Anniversary on 01 December 2024 at the 20 SLLI premises, amidst military formalities, under the guidance of Major P.C.D. Gamage, the Commanding Officer of 20 SLLI.
The Commanding Officer was accorded a Guard Turnout upon his arrival at the camp premises, followed by a Battalion parade to mark the anniversary. Subsequently, he posed for a group photograph, addressed the troops, and joined an All-Ranks lunch.
Moreover, a bodhi pooja was conducted at the Seenigama Temple and camp premises to invoke blessings for the troops of 20 SLLI.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the anniversary programme.
