2 (V) VIR Assists in Clearing Fallen Tree at Thulana Sri Bhodirajaramaya

A Bo Tree at Thulana Sri Bhodirajaramaya in Rambewa fell down due to heavy rain and strong winds, causing significant damage to a building within the temple premises. In response to a request from the Divisional Secretariat in Rambewa, the troops of the 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) promptly removed the fallen tree and cleared the area on 17 December 2024.

This was carried out under the guidance of the Commander of the 213 Infantry Brigade and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 2 (V) VIR.
