2 (v) SLAGSC Awards Cash Incentives to their Recognized Sportswomen

The 2 (v) Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) evaluated athletic skills of those who performed well in sports both at national and international levels and appreciated their skills by inviting them into the office of the Commanding Officer of 2 (v) SLAGSC on 15 March at Panagoda.

Lance Corporal H.M.P Herath (Long Distance Runner) who excelled in the South Asian Cross Country Running - 2022 and Private B.I.N Jayamanna (Short Runner), performed well in the Indian State Competition-2022 were hailed and congratulated after inviting them to his office by the Commanding Officer of 2 (v) SLAGSC.

Each of them was gifted Rs. 10,000/= in cash as incentives. The sponsorship was jointly provided by all in the battalion.
