The 17(V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) troops, under the directions of Commander, Security Force (Wanni), completed the construction of a new house for a deserving family in Pampeimadu on 19 October 2024.
Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division, graced the event as the Chief Guest and handed over the house keys to the beneficiary.
The project was sponsored by Mr. Chandana Nanayakkara, Manager of INSEE Cement Private Limited, and was carried out under the supervision of Commander of the 562 Infantry Brigade.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and the beneficiary family were present at the event.
