According to the concept of “The Second Coconut Triangle to North”, under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 17 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Major H.M.J Premathilaka RSP, the troops of 17 (V) SLLI organized coconut saplings planting programme on 08 April 2024. The initiative took place on a 2-Acre Land belonging to Mr. Weerabhahu Gnanaprakash, marking a sustainable effort towards enhancing the local environment.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and the Owner of the land participated in the programme.
