17 (V) Gajaba Regiment (GR) troops of the 64 Infantry Division under the Security Force HQ- Mullaittivu distributed free cool drinks (Dansela) among passers-by on Vesak Day (May 05) during morning hours at Thanduwan junction on Nedunkerni - Mulliyawalai main road under the guidance of Major L.A.M.L.W Bandara, Commanding Officer of 17 (V) GR.
A large gathering of bypassers enjoyed the hospitality of the troops. The General Officer Commanding, 64 Infantry Division, Commander, 642 Infantry Brigade together with Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu encouraged them for the treat as a community-oriented project.
