166 Vision Impaired People of Nandimithragama Receives Spectacles

The 11 Gemunu Watch (11 GW) in collaboration with Assist Resettlement and Renaissance under the coordination of 56 Infantry Division launched another programme to donate spectacles for 166 vision impaired people at Nandimithragama on 24 April 2024 at the camp premises.

The programme was launched under the direction of Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 56 Infantry Division. Dr. Sarveswaran, Secretary of Assist Resettlement and Renaissance provided the much needed sponsorship for the event. The Commanding Officer 11 GW made necessary arrangements to coordinate the event.

The GOC of 56 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Staff of Assist Resettlement and Renaissance participated in the event.
