The newly appointed Contingent Commander of the 15th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Lieutenant Colonel D.K.D Vithanage RSP, along with several Officers and Other Ranks, paid a courtesy call on HE Mr. Kapila Susantha Jayaweera, the Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Lebanon at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon on 02 May 2024.
During the occasion, the Ambassador expressed his valued views on the diplomatic missions in Lebanon and the reputation gained by the Sri Lankan peacekeepers in UNIFIL. Towards the end of the meeting, the Contingent Commander of the 15th SLFPC presented a memento to HE the Ambassador as a token of memory of the visit.
