Troops of thec 223 Infantry Brigade of the 22 Infantry Division under command to the Security Force HQ – East in collaboration with Kantale “95 Gantalawa Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church” organized a spectacle of Christmas Carols on 27 December at 223 Brigade HQ and several places in Mutur Town.
The Commander, 22 Infantry Division, Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event included singing and dancing performances, presented children of Hindu, Buddhist, and Christian faiths.
15 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) troops organized the programme according to the guidelines given by the 223 Infantry Brigade Commander and the General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division.
Meanwhile, troops of the 223 Infantry Brigade organized a Christmas Carol concert on 26 December at the 223 Infantry Brigade premises in cooperation with the Carol singers at Muttur St. Anne Church.
