Children residing at ‘Sanhinda’ Children’s Home at Watareka, Padukka were the recipients of a delicious lunch treat, organized by the 15 Drone Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) of 142 Infantry Brigade under the Security Force HQ-West on Sunday (7 May) on account of ‘Vesak’.
During the programme, those children were also given gifts and made them happy by providing music and entertaining features.
This event was organized with the commitment of all ranks of the 15 Drone Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel W.A.S.M Wijayalath and the guidance of the Commander 142 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier J. K. R. P Jayasinghe RWP RSP USP, with the blessing of Commander, Security Forces-West, Major General D. M. K. D. B Pussella RWP RSP.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks along with children’s home staff participated in this event.
