A group of Army personnel of the 14 (v) Gemunu Watch of the 613 Infantry Brigade of the 61 Infantry Division under the Security Force HQ-West providing manpower recently assisted a ‘Shramadana’ campaign, launched to clean Godewaththa temple compound in Galle in close collaboration with members of the laity (Dayaka Sabhawa).
The ‘Shramadana’ programme was joined by 20 Army personnel under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 14 (v) Battalion Gemunu Watch.
