14 Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) troops in UNIFIL adding their share to the Christmas spirits had their own festive programme at the Sri Base auditorium in Lebanon on the eve of Christmas day on Sunday (24 Dec).
Colonel D.P.L.T Kaluaggala RSP USP IG, Contingent Commander, 14 SLFPC before the celebration started in a brief speech shared compliments of the season and briefly touched on the importance and true meaning of the phenomenon through which peace, love and goodwill could be further enhanced.
The day’s event brought colourfulness to the event with the nicely-decorated Christmas tree, singing of Christmas Carols and dancing features, presented by 14 SLFPC troops at the occasion.
The programme came to an end with the presence of the Santa Clause who gave away gifts to all participants in the celebration.
