14 GOC Visits Formations Under Command to His Division

The newly-appointed General Officer Commanding, 14 Division, Major General A.S Ariyasingha during 7-8 January made formal visits to the 142 Brigade, 143 Brigade, 6 Gemunu Watch (GW), 16 Gajaba Regiment (GR), 11 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR), 1 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) and 10 SLNG formations as part of his familiarization visits.

During those visits, he was briefed by respective Senior Officers and was shown security arrangements at sensitive points, dining and cooking facilities, facilities for Other Ranks, etc.
