14 Division Troops Learn more about Disaster Management

Troops of the 14 Division HQ attended a workshop on Disaster Management on Wednesday (4) at the 14 Division HQ lecture hall at Colombo 2.

This workshop educated the troops on the nature of disasters, disaster operations, immediate deployment and all other measures related to the management of a disaster.

The lecture was conducted jointly by Mr S. Hapuarachchi of the Disaster Management Centre (operation room) and Commander R.L Balasooriya of Sri Lanka Navy, Tri-forces Coordinating Officer for Disaster Management Centre.

A group of 84 Army personnel including Officers listened to the lectures. General Officer Commanding, 14 Division supervised the arrangement. Running sneakers | Trending
