The ancient Katugahagalge Vihara premises in Buttala was thoroughly cleaned by troops of the 18 Gemunu watch (GW) under command to the 121 Brigade of the 12 Division under the Security Forces - Central in a 'Sharmadana' campaign on Thursday (22).
During this programme, troops cleaned the temple premises.
Major General Prasanna Ranawaka, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division and the 121Brigade Commander gave necessary directions and instructions to the Commanding Officer of the 18 Gemunu Watch to go ahead with the project.
